THESEUS ON THE HEAP ICA London.

'THESEUS ON THE HEAP' is a vivid and virtuosic theatre work drawing on a rich tapestry of ancient Grecian myths about the lands of Amazonia - reframing these canonical stories through a lens of queer progressive politics and post-feminist thinking. 

"The sun glows red over mountain-ranges of jagged shattered glass. These are now the taken territories of a hybrid race of cyber-enhanced womxn... They call themselves The Amazons. And they are coming for your King.”

The piece blends scripted dialogue with poetic visual symbolism and a high octane dance sequence. Commissioned by the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London.
